The Tackle Shop opened in 1988 with an inventory of flies and was originally housed in what we now call the Battery House. The merchandise quickly expanded to include hats, T-shirts and small souvenirs. The Tackle Shop moved to the main lodge in 1991 and brought in product lines from Columbia, Woolrich, Filson and Under Armour. In 2009, the shop was renamed The Vermejo Company Store.
