I am pleased that you are considering Vermejo Park Ranch in beautiful northern New Mexico. Vermejo Park offers an unparalleled opportunity to hunt and fish in one of the last large tracts of the West that still resembles what the West was before we altered it almost beyond recognition in the last century.

You will still see large herds of elk, deer, antelope, and bison on Vermejo Park, with their natural predators, such as bear and mountain lion, present. In addition, we are working to bring back to Vermejo species that once made the ranch their home, such as Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep, black-footed ferrets, and eventually wolves. We are also working hard to better protect the indigenous Rio Grande cutthroat trout existing in our streams, plus restocking our lakes with significant numbers of rainbows, brooks, and brown trout for your fishing pleasure.

Not only is Vermejo Park a unique place to enjoy and interact with the natural world, but we are also very proud of the manner in which our guests are taken care of while staying on the ranch.
